Cannon Free Library is incredibly blessed to have a large children’s room, a diverse selection of children, juvenile, and young adult titles, and a dedicated Youth Services Librarian.  We hold a variety of programs for toddlers, children, and the whole family.

Toddler Rhyme Time, Tuesdays at 10:30. Rhymes and fingerplay, felt board fun and tactile stimulation. (note: There will be no children’s programs the week of December 25th-30th.)

Preschool Storytime, Thursdays at 10:30. Stories and songs, feltboard action and a fun craft.

Crafternoon on the first Tuesday of the month, 3pm. A snack and something special for students ages 5 and up: a different fun craft to make and take home every month. Coming up: December 5th special gingerbread house make-a-thon including games and snacks, “let it snow” crafts in January, and jewelry making in February!

LEGO Club on the third Tuesday of every month, 3pm. Design your dream structure or take part in a Lego challenge. Ages 5 and up.

STEAM Time on the second Wednesday of every month, 3pm. Fun activities involving science, technology, engineering, art, and math for elementary-aged students. Galaxy in a Jar on November 15th!

Community Cares on the fourth Wednesday of every month. Pet toys for shelter donation, V-day cards for seniors, and more.
