Halloween Costume Exchange

As part of The Great Give Back, a community service initiative for public libraries in New York State, we will be accepting donations for gently used, clean Halloween costumes starting Friday September 12th until October 10th. You can drop them off during the library’s open hours (T-Fri 12-5, Sat 9-1).

On Saturday October 11th, 18th and 25th from 9-1pm, anyone from the community can come to the library to β€œshop” through the donations and find a costume for Halloween! One costume per person.

You do not have to donate a costume in order to get one. You can donate, take a costume OR both. πŸŽƒπŸ‘»

Soap Making Workshop

Learn how to make soap from start to finish with Nina from Ambrosia Farms & Garden Center. She will teach you step by step how to make soap from all natural ingredients and dried lavender harvested from the farm.

We will be dying a 10×15 inch wall hanging with Bengala dyes. All materials provided.

Bengala dye has been around since the Stone Age. The mineral pigment in Bengala is the same pigment used in the ancient Lascaux cave art! It is environmentally safe and made of natural sustainable materials.
