EFL Children’s Fundraiser Update

EFL Children’s Fundraiser Update

We wanted to give an update on our EFL Children’s Room Fundraiser; as of today, we have received 92 new books to add to our children’s room collection!
 
On our Book Angel Tree, 46 tags were taken home and 26 were returned with the accompanying book! (There are still 4 tags left on the tree if anyone wants them!). We kindly request that if you took a tag, you return it with the book by December 19th so we can get them processed and on our shelves by the new year. 📚🩵
 
We also received many books from our Amazon wishlist (https://a.co/hWcSVfn), as well as puzzles, games and other various educational materials for the children’s room.
 
We are so beyond grateful for everyone’s generosity. We truly can’t thank you all enough in helping us revamp our collection for our tiniest patrons! 💛

Nightmare Before Christmas: Movie Night & Craft

Come get into the holiday spirit at the library with The Nightmare Before Christmas! 💀🎄🎃
 
We will be painting clay pots starting at 6:30pm inspired by the movie. We will also have simpler crafts for the littlest ones.
 
Movie starts at 7pm with delicious popcorn and refreshments 🎥 🍿
 
Feel free to bring cozy blankets or a comfier chair.

We will be hosting our first Homemakers Swap!
 
Bring 5 of any handmade/homegrown item, swap and take home 5 new items. 🌻🪴
 
Homemade items could be anything – jams, candles, crafts, baked goods, soaps, bookmarks, art, etc. 
 
Refreshments will be provided. 🥐🍩☕️
 
This is all about creating community, sharing skills and knowledge with each other. 💛🌿
