Library Closings
Just a reminder, per our Emergencies Policy, the library will be closed if the Richfield Springs Central School closes for snow days. Please check our Facebook page if you are unsure or do not see an announcement in the news media.
Holiday Raffle Baskets
We are holding another fundraiser for programming. Stop in and pick up a raffle ticket. Winner chooses one of 3 baskets available full of lots of fun things. Drawing will be held on December 22nd. Winner will be contacted. Tickets are 1 for $1.00 or 6 for $5.00.
Library Budget Meeting
There will be a meeting here at the library, Tuesday, November 25th, 2025, at 5 pm, to discuss the library budget and the request we will be presenting to the Richfield Springs School District, requesting a tax levy for the library’s budget. All are welcome to attend. Steven Bachman, Director of the Four County Library System, will be in attendance as well to answer any questions we have about the process, as well as members of the Village board and Library Trustees.
Food Drive
The Richfield Springs Public Library will be accepting food donations to assist the local food pantries over the next two months. If you can, please consider donating non-perishable food items at the library. We will deliver the items to the food pantries each week.
Serving our neighbors however we can since 1910.

The front doors of the library will be locked and unaccessible starting next week, September 8th for construction purposes.
Please use the side door of the library at the parking lot to enter, the lift will be available, and the stairs into the library are to the left as you enter the door.
Programming Fundraiser
We have stylus pens and coasters for sale at the library. The stylus pens are black ink gel pens, with a stylus cushion on one end to allow you to work on your tablet without fingers!
A set of 4 slate coasters with the library name and slogan are available as well.
All proceeds from the sale of these items go towards programming supplies and payments for entertainers/instructors.
