Halloween Costume Exchange

As part of The Great Give Back, a community service initiative for public libraries in New York State, we will be accepting donations of clean, gently used Halloween costumes.
 
Starting today, September 22nd until October 9th, you can drop off any Halloween costume donations during library hours (Tues-Fri 12-5pm, Sat 9am-1pm). 🕸️
 
Our costume closet will be open to “shop” and pick out a costume from October 10th until October 31st!
Donate a costume, take a costume or both! You do not have to donate in order to take a new one. 🎃👻

Teddy Bear Sleepover

🌙 💤🧸Your special stuffed animal is invited to have a sleepover at the Edmeston Library!
 
Drop your stuffie off at the library anytime on Saturday, September 12th from 9am-3:30pm (or bring them with you to our Winnie the Pooh teddy bear picnic!) and pick them up the following morning on Sunday from 9-11am.
 
While you’re at home asleep, your stuffed friend will be enjoying a night of adventure at the library. We will be documenting the fun they’re having and the mischief they might get into on our Facebook page! 🧸💤🌙

🐝 🍯 Celebrate 100 years of Winnie the Pooh by joining us for a teddy bear picnic at the library 🍯🐝
 
Bring your favorite stuffed animal to the library for a picnic with yummy snacks, games, crafts, story time & more! 🧸🐷🐰 Goody bag prizes will be given for completing the scavenger hunt and playing pin the tail on Eeyore!
 
Free for all ages.
 
We are also hosting a stuffed animal sleepover Saturday night! We will share the adventures they get into during the night on our Facebook. Stuffy pick up will be on Sunday from 9-11am

Summer Reading Pizza Party

Summer Reading Pizza Party

Friendly reminder that next Thursday (8/27) is your last day to complete and return your bingo sheet or reading logs! 📚
 
There is still plenty of time to complete bingo or fill out a reading log. (Copies of both are available at the library) The requirement for the reading log is 5 books or 5 hours worth of reading this summer.
 
Our pizza party is on Saturday 8/30 at 4pm – we need everyone to RSVP by Thursday by calling/texting Kristy at 845-325-5848 or stopping by the library to let us know so we know how many pizzas to bring! 🍕
