Gingerbread House Decorating Event – A Day in Springfield
Come kick off the holiday season at Springfield Library’s 5th Annual Gingerbread House Decorating Event. We’ll decorate tiny houses and devour homemade cookies and cocoa. The library’s youth group, The Rambling Ryan’s, will sell Christmas items, including homemade Christmas wreaths. All profits will go toward youth chairs and seating.
The Springfield Historical Society’s Open House is decking the halls with a festive display of vintage toys, and will sell Springfield coloring books.
THEN … Head over to Santa’s Workshop at the East Springfield Fire Department’s winter wonderland! Refreshments, crafts, pictures with Santa, and soooo many things to do! Springfield Library will be giving away one new book to each child.
Everything is FREE. All are welcome to attend our ~Day in Springfield~.
