The Richfield Springs Public Library would like to invite students from 6th to 12th grade to join us in the creation of a Teen Advisory Board, where you will help us make decisions on programs, and books which the library will make available for you and your friends. If you are interested, please contact us at (315)858-0230, or email me at rs.mindy@4cls.org
We aplogize for the inconvenience, but the library will be closing today at 4pm for a meeting. We will reopen tomorrow at our regular time, 11 am. Thank you.
If you are distance learner or your children are, here is a video which may help in your planning and succeeding with distance learning. The instructor gives pointers on properly scheduling your time, etc.
We now have 3D Printing Pen Kits available at the library these can be taken out of the library by patrons with valid library cards. Please see the new policy on the Board of Trustess page in reference to the 3D Printing Pens.

Let’s play book bingo! You can either print the form from the file attached to the image on the left, or pick up a copy in the library. If you would like to participate, please let me know that you are so I can gather enough prizes. Fill in your bingo card, either the whole card, or just a line, or the four corners to win a prize at the end of the month. Have some fun, try some new things and happy reading!
Check out the new page above titled “New Books in the Library”. You can find all of the upcoming books we have on order and those which are currently in the system.
This page will be updated regularly as new items are ordered, to keep you up to date on new releases!
With these challenging times stress can get the best of us and smoking is often a source of relief to many, but as it has been stated smoking can lead to a greater susceptibility towards Covid-19.
As you may know the library is a tobacco free space, as is the area outside the library. Please continue to follow these guidelines to protect all community members, as well as yourself.
If you are considering quitting, please reach out to Tobacco Free Communities of Deleware, Otsego & Schoharie Counties. They can help provide free resources to help you quit.
Attached is more information on tobacco free community spaces.
