Join us Wednesday, August 1st at 6:30 pm at the Lisle Free Library for a Summer Reading Program special event – a Merry Mischief historical theatre presentation of “Renaissance Revelry”!  This full costume show explores tales of kings and queens, knights, dragons, and even nursery rhymes to satisfy even the Queen herself!  Enjoy songs, stories and poetry reminiscent of the Renaissance and Medieval times as history lessons unfold with humor and harmonies! 

All ages are welcome to attend this free event! Snack will be provided after the show.

With the new “assistant director” arriving soon (or more accurately the director’s maternity leave approaching), the Lisle Free Library is seeking applicants for Circulation Desk Clerk(s).   This is a fixed schedule, part-time position (4 – 20 hours/week) with hours set by applicant’s availability. Magician Ron Cain’s “Treasure Trove of Magic”

Join us Wednesday, July 18th at 6:30 pm at the Lisle Free Library for a Summer Reading Program special event – Magician Ron Cain’s “Treasure Trove of Magic” show!  All ages are welcome to attend! The audiences will help Magician Ron Cain read his magical map and decipher clues associated with distant lands and people and features a dragon’s lair, a haunted ghost town, the riddle of the Sphinx, a pirate’s cove, and a leprechaun’s treasure.
