Calling all dinosaur explorers! This free event on Wednesday, August 14th at 7pm will be held at the Lisle Fire Hall and will feature a team of real paleontologists sharing knowledge, skills, and artifacts from fossil digs!
Audience members will experience the thrill of digging up a real Triceratops dinosaur bone and then help construct a dinosaur on a large cut-out. The show also features the skull of Mr. Nixon, an eight-foot Triceratops skull discovered by the team in 1996, and examine the characteristics of this dinosaur.
Audience participation, a touch of magic, and show and tell with rare fossils will round out this fun, educational and exciting adventure!
As an added attraction, Mike and Roberta will set-up a mini-museum, showcasing photos and minerals from their summer digs in South Dakota!
