Afton History Laptop now at the Library

There is something new to preserve local history at the Afton Free Library! Recently, members of the Afton Free Library board joined with the Afton Historical Society for a grant project. The grant was awarded by the Community Foundation of South Central New York and is for the purpose of supporting cooperative efforts between libraries and museums that promote history programs and education. Funds provided by the grant were used to purchase a laptop to be used by community members, organizations and teachers for researching our local history.
