The Richfield Springs Public Library is going fine free on all items except DVDs. Please see the updated Circulation Policy (Section on Fines) under the Board of Trustees Page. DVD fines are still $1.00 per day for overdue fees.
If you don’t have a library card with us or the Four County Library System and would like to take advantage of all they have available, but can’t stop into the library right now, follow this link to sign up for a temporary card.
Four County Library system has a lot to offer online as well as in the libraries themselves. Once you sign up for the temporary card, we will be notified, and set you up with a permanent card, which you can pick up at the library, or we can mail it to you.
Please note, despite the new mask mandate, the Richfield Springs Public Library still requires a mask to be worn when you come into the library. As we serve patrons who are still at-risk, until the COVID-19 vaccine is available to all individuals, we ask that you adhere to our requirements.
If you are working at the computers, or in the memorial room at the tables, you are welcome to remove your mask.
The library is seeking volunteers for programming and working the circulation desk. If you are interested in helping out at the library, please fill out the application in the link below and return it to Mindy’s E-mail, rs.mindy@4cls.org, or bring it into the library.
Help is mainly needed on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 11am – 5pm, and Tuesdays from 11am – 4:30pm. You do not need to work those full hours, the more volunteers we can get, the merrier! We are flexible.
During the COVID crisis, you can choose where to have your books shipped: to your home or delivered to me with our class order. With a $25 order, you will get FREE shipping and a FREE Book (use code: READS).
Please feel free to forward the Class Page link to extended family and friends who may want to support your child’s reading.
Class Code: T94XD
Thanks,
The Stories Come Alive Team

In lieu of the present status of society due to Covid-19, we have adjusted the Code of Conduct Policy for the library. Please see the policies on our Board of Trustees page for any updates.
You can also access the updated Code of Conduct Policy here.
The Richfield Springs Public Library would like to invite students from 6th to 12th grade to join us in the creation of a Teen Advisory Board, where you will help us make decisions on programs, and books which the library will make available for you and your friends.
