Children’s Clay Class at The New Berlin Library

The New Berlin Library was held the second Ezra Jack Keats Foundation sponsored children’s art class on July 21 . Participating children were taught some basic clay sculpting techniques and how to use sculpting tools. The children experimented with the various techniques and created coil and free-form sculptures using air dry clay. At the end of the class participants were given the choice of leaving their sculptures at the library to dry or bringing them home.
