New Berlin Library Minutes for July 24th 2019 Meeting

George Anderson calls the meeting to order at 6:06 pm.
Minutes:
Motion to approve May’s meeting and Emergency Radiator meeting made by Donna Wells, seconded by Darla Smith, approved 5-0.
Bills:
Motion to approve all current bills available and due made by George Anderson, seconded by Alan Fairbrother, motion passes 5-0.
Treasurer’s Report:
Donna Wells reviews the Treasurer’s report with the Board, mentions one of the Bank of Cooperstown CDs will be coming due this August 5th in the amount of $15,500 as discussed in May’s meeting and states this amount will then be transferred into the Bank of Cooperstown Savings account. Donna also mentions she has asked that the Wells Fargo Sweep Account be closed to which Wells Fargo has agreed to write a check. Board in agreement. No further discussion.
Director’s Report:
Michelle Priola reviewed the Director’s Report. Summer Reading program going well, Art Class had good participation, as did attendance at the Perkins Performances. She also updated the Board on the resignation of Christina who had been teaching at the Afterschool Program and stated that she had contacted another teacher who has agreed to start teaching in October. RCR will be contacted August 5th when the cd comes due to discuss camera system upgrades and repairs. Board in agreement.

Donna Wells makes a motion to close the meeting at 6:25pm, seconded by Alan Fairbrother, motion passes 5-0.
