Bill Anselm is presenting a lecture on rockets entitled “It’s Not Rocket Surgery” on August 8 at 6:30 PM at the New Berlin Library in the community room. Bill Anselm states that he “will use his 25 years building satellites at NASA, along with work supporting other agencies, to give an overview of rockets, propulsion, guidance, and all the quirky details that make every satellite launch a heart-stopping moment for viewers.  Learn how they work, what the cryptic chatter during count-down means, and what it takes to leave the Earth behind.  And what’s the deal with Space X, BIgelow, Sierra Nevada, One Space, and Blue Origin?” Snacks and refreshments will be served at the lecture.
