The Children’s Summer Reading Program begins at the New Berlin Library on July 2nd and runs through August 31st. Children ages 12 and younger sign up at the circulation desk and receive a reading log. For every 5 books the child reads (or that is read to them) and is recorded in their log they receive a small prize. The child at the end of the summer with the most books read wins a grand prize. This grand prize this year is a bike and helmet.  In addition there will be a variety of crafts for children in the Juvenile Reading Room all summer long.
