Need to de-stress? Miss the fun freedom of coloring as a child? Want to do something creative? If any of these apply to you then we think you would love our Adult Coloring Night at the Oxford Memorial Library!
Studies have found that coloring reduces anxiety, reduces stress, improves brain function, and more! Coloring is also a lot of fun and shouldn’t be just for kids. Come to the Oxford Memorial Library on Wednesday evening May 15th at 5:30pm to relax and have some fun. We will provide coloring sheets, colored pencils, markers, crayons, and light refreshments. If you have an adult coloring book at home or a favorite set of markers feel free to bring them! This is an adult program for ages 16 and older.

You can bring houseplants, perennials, and seeds
- Plants must be in pots or another suitable container and labeled.
- Please only bring healthy and pest free plants to the swap
- Seeds must be labeled
- Some bags and boxes will be available for carrying your plants home but bringing your own is recommended.

Musical storytelling, a Rapunzel story, summer reading program kickoff night? What could be more fun? Join us at the Oxford Memorial Library for a fun performance by Green Golly, music and storytelling come together for a magical evening at the library.
This is also our kickoff event to get the Summer Reading Program started!
Oxford Memorial Library invites families to a craft night!
You will learn the basics of finger knitting and make a friend to take home with you. Everyone will be able to choose between making a snake or butterfly friend.
All supplies will be provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Get in the Holiday Spirit with a fun Book Page Wreath! We will use pages from discarded library books to create a beautiful wreath. Add holiday greenery for a touch of Christmas or let the book pages shine on a wreath you can put up all year.
All supplies will be provided, and Gillian will lead everyone through the craft.

With severe weather events becoming more frequent and more extreme, it is more important than ever that New Yorkers are prepared for disasters. The NY Citizen Preparedness Training Program teaches residents to have the tools and resources to prepare for any type of disaster, respond accordingly and recover as quickly as possible to pre-disaster conditions. The training course will provide an introduction to responding to a natural or man-made disaster. Participants will be advised on how to properly prepare for any disaster, including developing a family emergency plan and stocking up on emergency supplies.
