You and your family are invited to join the Oxford Memorial Library staff for a fun afternoon decorating the sidewalks in front of the library and on Forthill Park with beautiful sidewalk chalk!
Each family to attend will have their own spot on the sidewalk to decorate, spaced apart from other families.
Each family will receive their own sidewalk chalk to use and take home.
Please bring your face masks and help the Library follow guidelines, so they can continue to provide services like this for the community and your family.
What have you been reading or viewing this past month? Come prepared to share about the books and films you have enjoyed (or not enjoyed) recently. The recommendations of others just might be your next favorite!

Log on to Zoom (all link information will be available on the Facebook Event page the morning of the event) and learn how to make a pretty 3D heart by folding the pages of an old book. The process requires an old hardcover book of at least 220 pages in length that you’re ready to recycle (this book is what you will fold into shape), a ruler with centimeters marked on it, a pen or pencil, and patience! Shannon will get you started on the process and you’ll be able to finish on your own time (the entire folding process takes approximately two hours). If you live close to Harris Memorial Library and need a discarded book, we have several in the supply bin by the library door.
We’re playing BINGO online using virtual cards. It’s free, it’s fun, and the winners get bragging rights. We’ll be playing through Zoom, and the Zoom link will be available at the Facebook Event page the morning of the event. If we enjoy playing BINGO this way we’ll do it several times next month.
Join us to discuss the fascinating story of Ron Stallworth’s Black Klansman. The story revolves around a bold and clever police officer and his infiltration of the KKK in Colorado, and how his actions helped other groups deal with similar situations. The book is all at once frustrating, heart-wrenching, and humorous. Information on how to join our Zoom discussion will be shared on the Facebook Event Page the morning of the event.
