Free Lunch and Summer Reading Program

Free Lunch 12:15pm – 12:45pm, July 31st – August 17th, Monday – Thursday

All children 18 & under are eligible. No registration. No income or residency restrictions.

Don’t leave just yet, you’ll miss the fun! Story and Activity follow lunch. Bring your reading log to collect prizes!

Meals are offered through a collaboration with Unadilla Valley Central School & Hunger Solutions NY. Our Summer Reading Program is funded through a generous grant from Stewarts Shops Holiday Match.

Upcoming Board Meetings

The South New Berlin Free Library Board of Trustees will hold the following meetings in January:

Officer Election & Annual/1st Quarter Meeting:

Tuesday, January 17th at 5:30 pm

The community is welcome to attend these public meetings in the library.

Trustee Openings for 2023

We are seeking members of the community to fill trustee openings for the 2023 library board. Questionnaires are available on the library website and in the library beginning Nov. 20th. Please return the form to the library by the deadline of December 15, 2022. Trustee elections will be held by the current Board on January 10, 2023. Any questions please call 607-859-2420.

An Aquarium of Niagara educator will guide you through what you are seeing and answer your questions.

Visit the Penguin Coast habitat without leaving the library!

Peer into the windows of the penguin exhibit of the Aquarium of Niagara, on-screen at the library.
An aquarium educator will guide you through what you are seeing and answer your questions.
