ABOUT THE ROXBURY LIBRARY
The Roxbury Library Association is open Mondays, Wednesday, Thursdays 8:30-3:30; Saturdays 10-2. We are located at 53742 State Highway 30 in Roxbury; mailing address is PO Box 186, Roxbury, NY 12474. Telephone and Fax 607-326-7901.
Services offered within the library include free WiFi 24 hours a day (inside during hours; outside anytime day or night), wireless black and white printing ($.25 per page) from an Apple product, four public computers with printer, FAX machine – $1 per fax, and Notary Public service by appointment. We are a part of the Four County Library System and the benefits of this membership include interlibrary loan, Libby digital books, access to many periodicals, research opportunities, etc. The Four County Library Card library card allows holders to borrow books from all 43 libraries in the System.
Our Thrift Shoppe offers bag sales as well as moderately priced items to the public and includes clothing, shoes, sporting equipment, books, home goods and décor. The Thrift Shoppe is a vital part of our local community as well as being a large part of our annual budget. We have a dedicated group of volunteers who take the time to sort through and arrange donated items, and they also plan and execute various special sales throughout the year, the largest being the Holiday Bazaar which begins in early November.
