The Roxbury Library Association presents Dinos and Dogs!, a children’s event to be held in Kirkside Park on Wednesday, July 15. The event will run from 9:30am to noon. Participants will include:
All morning: the Dragon Wagon Book Bus, a bookstore on wheels – a great way to do some summer reading shopping (and each child receives a free book!);
9:30 – 10:45: David Black Entertainment presenting Safari Sam’s Dino-Tastic Adventure, a program which will amaze, enthrall and delight children
10:45: Demonstration by New York State Trooper Vargeson with K9 Rowe (a canine demo)
10:30 – noon: Cornell Cooperative Extension with their PowerHouse (this will be located in the Gould Church parking lot adjacent to the Park)
There will also be face painting, Jenga, and a craft table.
The Roxbury Library is very appreciative of the Four County Library System whose Outreach Mini-grant is underwriting this event; the Roxbury Library Board of Trustees is also contributing to this event.
