The Richfield Springs Public Library endeavors to develop collections, resources, and services that meet the community’s cultural, informational, recreational, and educational needs.

The library serves all the people of the community by collecting and making available to its users books and other materials that are selected for their enduring values of interest, information, and enlightenment and which meet high standards of quality in their content and expression.

Specific projects and services offered by the library, are intended to utilize available resources, including advances in technology, to identify and respond to both the enduring and the changing needs of modern times; so that the library can help provide to all of its users a foundation of information and cultural resources for their intellectual development and cultural enrichment of the community.
