June Cookbook Club

Stop by the circulation desk during open hours to choose your new recipe from the cookbook pictured above (“Marcus Off Duty-The recipes I Cook at Home” by Marcus Samuelsson). Each participant will make something different for our event on June 27th at 5:30 pm . Variety is the spice of life, after all!

Library staff will flag your recipe as chosen and make a copy for you to take home with you. During the event, food will be shared potluck style so everyone can sample all creations. Discussion will center around the recipes, the book, your favorite ‘go to’ recipe and anything else food related. Please join a great group of foodies for some delicious new flavors and lively discussion!

***This cookbook may not be circulated until the June event is complete***

Kids’ Craft with Miss Cherie: Fantasy Dream Catchers

Each child will be able to choose which they want and beginning steps will all be the same. Embellishments and all materials will be provided. Photos are a rough approximation of what we will be doing. We will be making some variation of those images. Ours WILL NOT look exactly like the images shown. Child(ren) must be accompanied by a favorite adult. Limited supplies. Please register with us in advance.

Coming Soon! New Adult Program: Cookbook Club

Beginning on February 28th at 5:30 pm, we will meet bi-monthly to try different recipes, all from the same cookbook. Stop by the Circulation Desk to choose your recipe. We will make a copy of the recipe for you to take home, and no two participants will be able to make the same thing. (Variety is the spice of life, after all!)

The cookbook is available at the circulation desk now, so stop by and choose your recipe. We will bring the recipes in potluck style on this day so we can all sample everyone’s creations!
