{"id":346,"date":"2018-07-10T16:50:10","date_gmt":"2018-07-10T16:50:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/libraries.4cls.org\/lisle\/?p=346"},"modified":"2018-07-10T16:50:10","modified_gmt":"2018-07-10T16:50:10","slug":"2018-readers-reward-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/libraries.4cls.org\/lisle\/2018\/07\/10\/2018-readers-reward-program\/","title":{"rendered":"2018 Reader&#8217;s Reward Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; font-family: 'Georgia','serif';\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Readers can earn great prizes this summer for time spent reading at the Lisle Free Library!&nbsp; This year\u2019s Reader\u2019s Reward Program is open to all children under the age of 18 and will run from Wednesday, July 18<sup>th<\/sup> through Wednesday, August 29<sup>th<\/sup>.&nbsp; <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; font-family: 'Georgia','serif';\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px; font-family: 'Georgia','serif';\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To participate readers simply keep a log of the number of minutes they have read using either a paper log (<em>Download here: <a href=\"http:\/\/libraries.4cls.org\/lisle\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Reading-Log.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reading Log<\/a><\/em>) or by using the ReaderZone\u00ae app (<i>Instructions here:&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/libraries.4cls.org\/lisle\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Reader-Zone-Flyer_Custom.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reader Zone Instructions<\/a><\/i>) and earn amazing prizes!&nbsp; (Here\u2019s a tip: It also counts when someone reads to them! It might be a teacher, parent, your cousin, grandparent, or even babysitter. As long as an adult initials \u2013 it counts!) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; font-family: 'Georgia','serif';\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px; font-family: 'Georgia','serif';\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This year\u2019s prizes include a toy from the Treasure Chest for every 50 minutes and $5 Book Order Credit toward a New Book for every 250 minutes. Also readers earn prizes for reaching certain reading levels. For reading 750 minutes, they earn (1) Free Slice of Pizza @ Dominic\u2019s Pizza. For 1,000 minutes, (1) Free Ice Cream Cone @ The Scoop in Whitney Point, NY.&nbsp; For 1,500 minutes, (1) Pass to the Discovery Center. And for 2,000 minutes, (1) $25 Barnes &amp; Noble Gift Card! All prizes must be validated by and collected from the Lisle Free Library.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px; font-family: 'Georgia','serif';\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px; font-family: 'Georgia','serif';\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Program participants can enter to win a $50 Amazon gift card by making a \u201cBingo\u201d on their Bingo Reading Card (<i>Download here: <a href=\"http:\/\/libraries.4cls.org\/lisle\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Reading-BINGO-Sheet.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BINGO Sheet<\/a><\/i>).
