Welcome to the Summer Reading Program Page! Summer Reading runs from July 1st to August 31st.
The Summer Reading Program is paid for in part by a grant from Otsego County Government. We are so thankful to them!
This year our Summer Reading Program has something for everyone – even adults! We’ve got events, prizes, fun activities and more. This page will have a detailed description of each event. Some require sign ups so we can plan accordingly. Please visit this form to sign up for those events.
We’ve got lots of events planned out. Make sure to follow us on Facebook and return to this page for any updates!

Storyboard
Near the back of the library we have a posterboard. With the posterboard are a set of pens.
The goal? Make a story as a community!
You can put a word, a sentence, draw a scene, whatever you want. We’re just looking to build a community story that’s fun and entertaining. ( It may also be one of the squares on your bingo board 😉 )
Book Exchange
Every year we host a book exchange for the kids in our community. Each time a child returns a book they’ve read to the library during the summer, they can pick out a free book from our Summer Reading bookshelf to keep!
