Summer Reading Programming Begins with…Bells & Motley!

  Saturday, June 10, noon

If you have never come to a library program before, come to this one. Bells & Motley are awesome.

If you come to library programs all the time, come to this one. Bells & Motley are unique.

Thanks to public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Grant Program, with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the NYS Legislature, and administered in Delaware County by the Roxbury Arts Group, we are able to present a very special program for children and families: “Music along the Canal.”

“Music along the Canal” brings to life the sounds of the immigrants who came here during the canal era through their music, instruments, costumes and dances. Hear the music again on the artists’ collection of historic instruments, including the Irish harp, bagpipes, bodhran, pennywhistles, hurdy gurdies, banjos, a squeezebox, and more. Fun for the whole family, the hour-long show will begin at noon, and it is free.
