The group meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month in the community room. All are welcome to join beginning on Tuesday September 8th, 2015 from 1 – 4pm. Be sure to bring your sewing machine!

March Art Exhibit – Antique Quilts

Thanks to the Delaware County Historical Association, the Sidney Library is proud to display antique quilts for the month of March, in our Smart Community Room. These quilts were all made by hand between 1770 and 1916. Stop by and view them anytime the library is open.

Jim Bryden Quilting Presentation 1/10

Are you interested in the stories behind the artwork? Join us on Saturday, January 10th at 1pm in the Smart Community Room as Jim Bryden speaks about his quilts. Mr. Bryden’s work is very intricate, with lots of beautiful patterns. Many samples of his work will be shown. Please join us for this free presentation!

Featured Artist for December – Jim Bryden

Starting on December 20th, the work of Jim Bryden will be on display in the Smart Community Room. Mr. Bryden is a stonecutter from Sidney Center who also creates beautiful quilts. These quilts will be on display and we encourage you to view them whenever the Sidney Library is open.

Featured Artist for May – Afton Piece Corps Quilters

Local crafters will be pleased with the May art exhibition in Sidney Library’s Smart Community Room. It features works by the Afton Piece Corps Quilters, a group of talented members who transformed imagery from books into quilts and wall hangings.

We invite the public to stop in anytime our library is open and enjoy the show.
