This summer we are running a Lego Robotics Club. Participants will learn programming by solving challenges with the Lego Mindstorms NXT kit and software. The program is open to tweens and teens (ages 9 – 16) and will run every other Monday in the Public Computing Center beginning in mid-July.
We are asking those interested to stop into the library to fill out a form with your age and time preference. Spots will be limited but we will try to accommodate everyone interested. Don’t miss out on this fun program!
There are still a few spots available in June’s Microsoft Word workshop. The two-part workshop will take a focused and hands-on approach to learning Word. Participants will come away with an understanding of Word’s many features and the ability to create a wide range of professional documents. If you have ever been confused by Word or just want to understand some more of the program’s features, this workshop is for you!
The workshop will take place on Monday, June 10th and Monday, June 17th from 10:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. Follow the link on the left side of this page to register.
