Tweens and teens are invited to stop by the library on Friday November 28th from 1-2pm in the Smart Community Room and use our photobooth setup. We will have fun props for you and your friends to pose with. You can bring your tablet or phone to take pictures too, and share them with your family and friends. Come be silly and have a good time!
Sidney Library’s Public Computing Center will offer classes during the month of August on the following topics:
- computer basics
- scanning and uploading photos
- introduction to Skype
If you are interested in registering for any of these classes, you can click here to view the complete calendar. By holding your mouse over a workshop you can see more information, including if there are still openings. Registration is available online, or by calling 563-1200 or stopping in to the Sidney Library.
Open hours are also available if you have a specific question about using a device or website. The PCC’s open hours will be every Wednesday from 10:00am to noon.

Our featured exhibit in the Smart Community Room for the month of April is JoAnn Bertone Chmielowski. JoAnn’s nature photographs make use of reflections and unusual perspectives, and are paired with beautiful frames carved from local wood.
This exhibit is open for viewing any time our library is open. We encourage you to stop back and visit it!
Photo club, run by local photographer Thomas Hunter, will meet this Monday, April 7th at 6pm in the Smart Community Room. Thomas goes into great depth about the many functions of digital cameras, so this group is a great fit for both beginner and experienced photographers.
