Story and craft time will be hosted by both Sidney Center and Masonville branch libraries during the month of July. Preschool and school-age children are invited to join us at the following times:
- Sidney Center Branch Library – every Monday in July – 2:00-2:45pm
- Masonville Branch Library – every Monday in July – 3:30-4:15pm
On Wednesday, June 25th at 6:00pm, Kim MacRabie will present about Delaware and Chenango Wholeshare, an organization that offers local and organic food at reasonable prices by working with groups of members rather than individually. Ms. MacRabie will share information about Wholeshare and answer questions. We hope you will join us in the Smart Community Room for this informative talk.
Sidney Library’s Public Computing Center is offering a number of workshops during the month of June. A sample of topics include:
- Introduction to Windows 8
- How to Use Ancestry.com, Library Edition
- Documents and Folders (keeping your computer organized)
Open hours have also been established. During these times, patrons are welcome to stop by for one-on-one help, such as using their e-reader or help using a particular website. In addition, we have scanners and a Mac computer available for use.
