A big thanks goes out to YOU – our patrons. You stopped in more than 50,000 times to the Sidney, Sidney Center, and Masonville libraries to borrow books, rent DVD’s, play with puppets, or attend one of our 497 different programs in 2014.
For a small town we are proud to offer a variety of children’s, young adult, and adult books – both fiction and non-fiction. Last year you borrowed over 93,000 books, and this year we hope there will be even more books circulated.
We love getting to know you and your families, and helping you save money by borrowing our library books and DVD’s for free.
Sidney Memorial Public Library, Masonville Branch Library, and Sidney Center Branch Library will all be participating in Food For Fines the week of November 3rd – 10th. If you have overdue fines, we will accept non-perishable items as ‘payment’ for these fines. These items are then donated to the local food banks, just in time for the holiday season.
If you haven’t yet completed a Sidney Library (and branches) survey on paper, please take a moment to complete it online. Your responses will help us to improve our services.
Click here to visit the survey directly, or you can visit the Survey page on our website for more information.

Above is a photo of the Masonville Library‘s new library sign. The sign was an Eagle Scout project completed by Sidney High School Student Austin Dean. We thank Austin for his work improving our community.
