Families are invited to a fun activity on Wednesday, April 6th from 6:00 – 7:00 pm in our Smart Community Room.
Why wait ’til Spring Break? Put on your flip-flops, grab your sunglasses, and come to the library for some beach-time fun! We will have story time with some beach-themed books. Then kids will have time to make sand art, dig for buried treasure, and do a craft activity.
Don’t forget to bring a towel to sit on!
We have something new in the children’s section of the Sidney Library, just past the puppets. Check out our bookshelf of pamphlets, books, and other resources that all relate to parenting. With everything from baby food recipes to books about teenagers, we hope you find something helpful.
Our nutrition workshops continue through the end of February. The Healthy Children Healthy Families series of workshops is every Wednesday night from 6 – 7:30pm in the Smart Community Room. Stop by and get some healthy snack and meal ideas, and learn about games and activities for your family.
Do you enjoy doing genealogy research? Join our Ancestry/Genealogy Club which will meet every 4th Wednesday of the month. The first meeting will be Wednesday September 23rd, 2015 from 6:00 – 7:30pm in the Smart Community Room. You must bring your own laptop.
If you have taken our Researching Family History workshop, or have used Ancestry.com, feel free to join us!
Our first Family Entertainment activity of the summer is a scavenger hunt for kids on Wednesday July 1st, 2015 at 6:30pm. Kids can follow clues to explore all the library has to offer. Join us as we begin the event in our Smart Community Room and branch out all throughout the library. We hope to see you there!
