Art Exhibit

Ms. Hope Thurlby’s artwork will be on display for the month of May. Her background includes being born and raised in Great Britain, earning her Ph.D in Viking Archaeology, and curating at both the Bermuda Maritime Museum and the Plymouth Memorial Museum. Her sketches and illustrations will be in our Smart Community Room for viewing during regular library hours.

Plant Diseases Presentation

The Sidney Library will welcome Mr. Tony Antes on Monday, May 9th 2016 at 6:30pm. Mr. Antes will present on plant diseases and ways to keep your garden healthy this summer.

Elder Law Workshop

Attorney Beth Westfall will give a free presentation on Thursday, May 19th at 6:30pm where she will discuss topics relating to elder care. This includes health care proxies, wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. Please bring your questions.

Seed Swap

With spring comes the county-wide Seed Swap program. Bring in flower, herb, and vegetable seeds from 2015 to swap – this way you can have more variety in your garden. There is a small wooden card catalog near our main desk that will house the seeds.
