Art Exhibit

SEPTEMBER – Amy Nordberg, a lifetime resident of the area, will display her photography in the Smart Community Room for the month of September. Ms. Nordberg is inspired by nature and her work in canine and equine massage therapy, and has been featured in local exhibitis such as the Jericho Arts Council Gallery and Windsor Whip Works Art Gallery.

OCTOBER – Lillie Anderson’s artwork will be on display for the month of October in our Smart Community Room. Ms. Anderson’s work includes local landscape paintings, acrylic paintings of Sidney streetscapes, and watercolor and pen-and-ink works of streets and interiors. We invite you to view the exhibit anytime the library is open.

Titanic Disaster Presentation

The Titanic, perhaps the most famous ship sinking in history, will be the topic of discussion at this presentation on October 7th at 6:30pm in the Smart Community Room. Scott Payne, a local RMS Titanic disaster historian, will share his knowledge of the Titanic, including the sinking in 1912 and the discovery of the wreckage in 1985. He will also share its connection to a local family.
