Music for Munchkins
This popular program will be on Thursday Sept. 4th and Tuesday Sept. 16th at 10:30am. If you are between the ages of 0-5 years old come join Erin as she lets you explore instruments, sing songs and finish off with parachute play. It’s a good way for kids to express themselves and have some fun!
PJ Story Time
Join Linda on Wednesday Sept. 17th at 6:30pm for this fun evening program. Wear your jammies – Linda does!
Family Story Time
This is a new program. Erin will offer a Saturday story time for families who are busy during the week. This month’s Family Story Time will be held Saturday, September 20th at 10am.
A brief rundown of our weekly kids’ programs:
Toddler Story Time is for those 18 months to about 3 years old. We sing songs and read books. It is on Fridays from 9:30 – 10:00am. The stories are short to appeal to their attention spans.
Preschool Story Time is on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 – 10:15am. Starting September 17th, we will be adding Preschool Story Time every Wednesday at 1:30pm, which will have the same theme as our Tuesday story time. We have a theme with our books, then make a craft project to tie it all together. Every session is different, so feel free to come to both. This is for children who are getting ready for preschool or kindergarten.
*We do not have a sign up for these programs – just show up for some fun. All of our story times require the parent/caregiver to be present. Moms, dads, and other caregivers have enjoyed the experience and we encourage you to stop by.
Teen & Young Adult Programs
Lego Club will meet Saturday Sept. 13th. They meet every 2nd Saturday of the month @ 1- 3 p.m in the Smart Community Room. Participants bring their most recent Lego creation to show to others.
