Join us for a fun program called “Get Your Game Face On”, which will be held in the Sidney Library’s PCC on Friday, January 2nd, 2-4pm. School age kids are invited to join us to play games on the Wii. Board games and other activities will also be available.
Would you or your child enjoy watching a movie on the big screen for free? On Tuesday, December 30th at 1pm, we will be showing How to Train Your Dragon 2 in the Smart Community Room. It would be a nice chance to get out of the house for the afternoon and do something fun. We hope you will join us!

With school being closed on Monday, December 22nd, is your child looking for something fun to do? Join us at the Sidney Library at 2pm when kids will be able to create a homemade ornament for their own tree or to give as a gift.
Kids in grades K-6 are invited to stop by the library on Tuesdays from 3:30 – 4:30pm and check out the new Kids Club. Downstairs in the PCC (Public Computing Center) we will meet to play games, do team challenges, make crafts, and more. We hope you will join us for some fun!
The Sidney Library is excited to host John Neumann on Saturday December 6th at 12:30pm. Mr. Neumann will have his electric train set on display while we show the holiday movie The Polar Express on the big screen in the Smart Community Room. Adults and children alike are invited to come enjoy the movie and chat with John about trains. We hope you will join us!
Tweens and teens are invited to stop by the library on Friday November 28th from 1-2pm in the Smart Community Room and use our photobooth setup. We will have fun props for you and your friends to pose with. You can bring your tablet or phone to take pictures too, and share them with your family and friends. Come be silly and have a good time!
The Sidney Library staff have planned a fun afternoon of Halloween activities for kids on Friday, October 24th. We invite families to join us for one or more of the following events:

Do you have preschool or school-age children who enjoy playing with Legos? Join Sidney Library staff member Linda for a new program called Lego Time, which will be held Wednesday Sept. 17th at 4:00pm. We will have Legos available to create with and may have a challenge or two, just for fun.
For kids who have been keeping track of their reading to earn free books, please note that all Independent Reading Logs must be turned in to the Sidney Library by Saturday, August 30th. There is a little blue bucket at our circulation desk where they can be placed.
The Sidney Library will show children’s movies on the big screen in our Smart Community Room. These movies are free to the public. Food is not provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
