Tim Welch is a local artist who only started painting after his early diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease. Tim discovered an interest and desire to create art from the world that surrounds him.
Tim uses his art to help raise money for research in Parkinson’s Disease.
The library is excited to have Tim join us for a signing of his new book, “Pictures From Parkinson’s” as well as a display of his artwork.

Throughout October the library will be hosting a painted pumpkin contest! Paint a pumpkin like your favorite book character and bring it by to the library. In the last week of October the community will vote on their favorite!
Don’t have paint at home? That’s ok! Bring your pumpkin to the library and use our paint!
Thank you to the New York State Police Officers who came in to the library today for story hour! We had a great time and the boys learned a lot! Don’t forget about our other exciting events this week- Rock painting tomorrow, the Utica Zoo Mobile on Thursday, Story Hour Friday morning and Aliens in the library Friday afternoon!
