Summer Reading Program 2018 Schedule

*All events take place at the Nineveh Public Library, and are scheduled for 6-7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted*

July 10

Kickoff Night! Learn how to earn prizes for reading this summer!  Come check out our new selection of books!

July 12

Kopernik Observatory and Science Center will be here to teach us how to make Astronomy Sky Wheels!

July 17

Join us as storyteller, songwriter and singer Story Laurie presents Get Down, Jump Around & Boogie with Books!

July 19

Robert Rogers will join us to perform his musical puppet show The Carnival of the Animals!

July 24

Musician Ira McIntosh will perform his show “Rockin the World” … one library at a time!

July 25

HCS Music teacher Mrs. Cole will share music & a story!

July 26

Musician Aimee Backus will join us for interactive activities with rhythm, singing, stories and learning about the flute!

July 31

Head Start will be reading and making a craft with our students!

August 1

The Binghamton High School Steel Drum Band “The Juice Blenders” will be performing for us!

August 2

End-of Summer Celebration! This will be our celebration for completing our summer reading!  Join us to wrap-up the program, give out reading awards/prizes and enjoy sweet treats!
