SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING AT THE CANNON LIBRARY! BOOK SALE!! We will hold our Annual Book Sale on Saturday, September 25th in conjunction with Delhi Harvest Days. Come check out the wide variety of books we have - fiction and non-fiction for adults and children as well as CDs, books on tape, videos - and much more. Sale is from 9am to 3pm. COME CHECK IT OUT!We have finished our Summer Reading Program at the library. We had over 100 children sign up and participate in the various activities we have had during the last six weeks. What fun!! Special programs, crafts, stories and a final beach party! Thanks to all who participated to help make this program so successful. As we look forward to fall, we also welcome a new director at Cannon Library. Stacey Tromblee comes to us from Mineville, NY with experience in small libraries in Vermont. We invite you to stop in and meet Stacey as she begins her tenure as director at the librry. Look for storytimes beginning again in September. Eloise will begin storytimes after school starts. Plan to come and see all the good things she has in store! Call us at 746-2662 with any questions or for more information. Also, come and check out the resources the library has to offer. Books on CD; videos; DVDs; books, magazines; audio books; and children's books. We are part of the Four County Library System and can borrow from other libraries in the system if we don't have something you want. We also belong to circuits collections for large print, books on CD, and DVDs. |
