STORY TIME PROGRAMS:
Story times for pre-schoolers and toddlers continue on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 10:30am. After school story times (geared for Kindergarten thru 3rd grade) are held on Tuesday afternoons at 3:30pm. Story times include stories, songs and fun for all!
SPECIAL PROGRAM: On Tuesday, December 30th, the library will sponsor a special program by the Dirtmeister (Steve Tomecek). HIS TOPIC THIS TIME WILL BE "INVENTING A BETTER WORLD". The Dirtmeister does fun things with science using everyday household items - and he encourages hands on science. He is fun and informative and his enthusiasm for science it contagious! Geared to families - adults and children alike will enjoy this program PROGRAM BEGINS AT 1:00PM AT THE LIBRARY AT 40 ELM STREET, DELHI. It is free and open to the public.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER AT THE LIBRARY:
In addition to our collection of fiction, non-fiction and large print books, the library has collections of books on tape and books on CD; magazines; DVDs and Videos for our patrons to borrow. We also have a large collection of children's books; Reading Rainbow boxes; puzzles and more for children and young adults. As part of the Four County Library System, we can offer inter-library loan for items we do not own.

You can access electronic resources for health information, reader's advisary suggestions, magazine articles, practice tests for civil service jobs and SAT tests as well as research information geared toward children. LOTS OF GREAT INFORMATION WHICH HAS BEEN EVALUATED TO ASSURE THAT THE INFORMATION YOU ARE GETTING IS ACCURATE AND TRUE.

History: The Cannon Free Library was built in 1918 by Mr. Henry White Cannon and continues to serve Delhi and the surrounding community through the generous endowment left to the library by Mr. Cannon and his heirs.
