The last two years have been difficult for all in Cooperstown as we struggle to live safely. Every organization, including ours, have had to make tough choices to protect their staff and the community. We can truly appreciate the reluctance of the Chamber of Commerce to take on hosting duties for the annual Cooperstown Halloween Parade. Due to our core missions, the Village Library of Cooperstown and the Cooperstown PTA have been working particularly hard to meet the needs of children and young families during these times. Working together with concerned and involved guardians, parents and grandparents, the Library and School have been able to safely return kids to classrooms, story hours and extra curricular activities. We look forward to celebrating the Halloween holiday with the Cooperstown community, and we hope you’ll join us.
Please join the Friends of the Village Library for the first in the 2021-22 Sunday Speaker Series. Presenting virtually October 17 at 3:00pm, Dr. Richard Loftus will lead Long COVID Syndrome and Other Post-COVID Complications.
Dr. Loftus will discuss “long COVD” and other complications that are seen in survivors of even mild or asymptomatic COVID infections. How common are these problems? What causes them? Are they preventable?
