Cherry Valley Memorial Library is a member of the Four County Library System.

WHAT CAN YOU FIND AT THE LIBRARY?
1. Books: popular fiction & nonfiction for adults, young adults, juveniles
2. Magazines
3. Weekly newspapers to read in the library
4. Rotating collections: audio books (CD & cassette), large print books, videos (DVD & VHS)
5. Interlibrary loan for fiction & nonfiction books, audio books, videos and more
6. Internet access for the public using our two Gates Library Computers
7. Access to online Research Center resources.

Your Cherry Valley Memorial Library card may be used at all of the public libraries in the Four County Library System (Otsego, Chenango, Delaware and Broome counties).

THE BASICS
1. Registration forms are available at the main desk. Proof of name and mailing address are required.
2. Children under 14 must have a parent/guardian sign their form. Separate card numbers will be issued to children, at their parent’s discretion, if they are able to come to the library unaccompanied.
3. Cards expire in 3 years. Lost card replacement charge is $1.
4. You must bring your library barcode card with you to borrow materials.
5. Most items circulate for 3 weeks and may be renewed once by phone, in person or online.
6. Interlibrary loan (ILL) requests can be made in person, by phone or online for items already out on loan or for new books on order.
7. Out-Of-System (OOS) ILL requests can be placed for books valued at $12.95 or greater.
8. REFERENCE BOOKS DO NOT CIRCULATE.
9. A Book Return/Drop Box is located on the library lawn for your convenience in returning books when the library is not open.
10. Photocopies & computer printouts are 10 cents each (our paper or yours).
11. FAXES may be sent or received for you for a fee.
12. Fines are 10 cents per day for books and 1 dollar per day for videos.

STORY HOUR
The Library provides a story hour for preschool children featuring story sharing and crafts. Please call 607-264-8214 for details and schedule.

WI-FI
Wireless Internet access is available 24/7. Bring your own laptop with wireless Internet card to the library to connect. Please make sure you have a fully charged battery.
