Have you ever wondered how long libraries are supposed to keep certain records?
To help answer those types of questions, we have collected information and assembled a Records Retention Page.
The page includes basic information and links to retention schedules from the New York State Archives.
The page for the Construction Aid program has been updated to reflect the most current information available.
The slides from last Friday’s workshop have been posted.
The Whom to Contact at 4CLS list has been updated.
Several meeting minutes were added today including:
January 23 4CLS Board Meeting Minutes were added to the 4CLS Board Page
The February & March BCPL Board minutes were added to the BCPL Board page
The minutes from the November 18, 2016 4CLS Board Meeting have been added to the Meetings & Minutes area of the 4CLS Board of Trustees section.
The next 4CLS Board meeting is scheduled for March 25 at the Mary Wilcox Memorial Library in Whitney Point, 1 PM.
We have set up a separate page for information related to the annual report. The page includes links to Bibliostat, the outline of major changes for 2016, and the full instructions for the 2016 report.
We will also use this page to post the data member libraries need from the system to complete their report along with frequently asked questions.
SMIG now has a dedicated page on the intranet.
It includes links, notes from the last meeting and the date for the next meeting.
